Thank you Dance Forever! 2020 Conference – FREE IN THE BLACK AESTHETIC

Thank You! Thank You! THANK YOU!

This weekend Tekrema Center produced its first virtual event, Dance Forever! 2020 Conference –  FREE IN THE BLACK AESTHETIC! It continued one of our signature events and Tekrema’s mission. It was beautiful from the start to finish. Its magic was how the artists celebrated our connections, beauty, creativity and resilience of the Black Aesthetic. Yes, there is a Black Aesthetic! This conference was meant to be and was the unapologetic portrayal of our African – ness, Black-ness, Creole-ness from both the historic and forward-looking celebration of Black identity.

Here are the numbers: Friday, October 9th – 90 Views/Saturday, October 10 – 156 Views. Join us in 2021. These artists are returning and we are adding artists from Benin, Colombia, Guadeloupe, Louisiana, and Martinique!

Thank you to our talented Technical Support, Incredible Artists, Generous Sponsors, Tekrema’s Board of Directors, and YOU!
