Dance Forever! is Tekrema Center’s annual signature dance event.  Truly reflective of Tekrema’s dedication to its mission, Dance Forever! pays homage to traditional and current African and African Diaspora dance traditions.

Dance Forever! is presented as a week-long conference featuring intensive dance workshops, panel discussions, performances, and exhibits. The conference features local, national and internationally acclaimed dancers from Louisiana, The Caribbean, and Africa.  This year, the conference theme is Free in The Black Aesthetic. The conference will held virtually, October 9th and 10th. We hope to bring you the best of Louisiana, The Caribbean and African cultural traditions.
